Girls’ Hostel
The Girls’ Hostel of the college is supervised by a Hostel Management Committee headed by the Dean, with the Warden, SWO, Academic I/c, Accounts Officer, Junior Engineer, and student representatives as members. The hostel has 68 rooms with a total capacity for 160 occupants. Each room is provided with beds, tables, and chairs. It also has a common room, kitchen, dining, library, music room, and fitness-cum-Indoor Sports room. The mess is maintained by the students, and weekly menu is decided by the Mess-In-charge in discussion with students. The students are given good quality food, and opportunities to organize special functions/get-togethers within the hostel. Students are well-disciplined and they follow the time schedule strictly. Students are allowed to go to the local market (with prior permission) once in a week for which vehicle is provided by the college. They are also permitted to attend religious ceremonies on Sundays. All the hostellers are encouraged to participate in the maintenance of the nutritional kitchen garden within the hostel premises.
