Saraswati Puja was organized today at the College of Agriculture, Iroisemba, CAU, Imphal. The event was graced by Honourable Vice Chancellor Dr. Anupam Mishra, Prof. Indira Sarangthem (DI and Dean), Dr. L. M. Garnayak (DR), officials of CAU, HoDs, faculty, scientists, staff, and students. The ceremony included prayers and offerings of flowers to Goddess Saraswati, marking the auspicious occasion. [2nd Feb., 2025]

Vidya Bharati North Eastern Region hosts the Samutkarsh Mahashivir from 29 to 31 January 2025 at Sarusajai Stadium, Guwahati. The Governor of Assam, Shri Laxman Prasad Acharya Ji, is the chief guest at the inaugural programme. Central Agricultural university, Imphal participated in the exhibition. The Honourable Governor visited the CAU stall, Dr. Anupam Mishra, Honourable Vice Chancellor, CAU Imphal welcomes the honourable Governor during the visit.

On 28th January 2025, The College of Community Science, CAU (Imphal), Tura, organized a National Symposium on “Threads of Heritage: Exploring Textiles and Natural Fibres” at CPGSAS,Umiam, Meghalaya. The event was inaugurated by Shri Conrad K. Sangma, Honourable Chief Minister of Meghalaya. Smt. Archana Chitnis, MLA from Madhya Pradesh, and Shri Atul Jain, General Secretary, Deendayal Research Institute, attended as Guests of Honour. Dr. Anupam Mishra, Vice-Chancellor, CAU (Imphal), presided over the session. The program featured speeches, a publication release, and a felicitation ceremony for artisans and farmers. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of preserving traditional textiles. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Anupama Mishra, Professor & Head, Dept. of Textile and Apparel Designing.
