


















Officials of the Headquarters of Central Agricultural University, Imphal virtually participated in the National Launch of BharatVistaar – Digital Public Infrastructure for AI in Agriculture held on 17 February 2026 at Jaipur, following the Union Budget 2026–27 announcement.
The initiative integrates AgriStack, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, government schemes, the India Meteorological Department, and mandi price systems to deliver unified digital advisories, credit, insurance, and market intelligence for farmers.
The virtual event was attended by Prof. Ph. Ranjit Sharma, Director of Extension Education; Prof. N. Brajendra Singh, Director of Instruction; Prof. L. M. Garnayak, Director of Research; Dr. T. R. Sharma, Registrar; Dr. P. T. Sharma, Comptroller; Er. Victor Kumrah, Estate Officer; and other officials from the University and outside organisations.
Prof. P. Gunindro Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Cultural University, Manipur, also attended the live viewing of the programme.
