The College of Post-Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences (CPGSAS), Umiam, Meghalaya, celebrated “National Women Farmers Day 2025” on 15th October, 2025 to honour and acknowledge the vital contributions of women in agriculture, particularly in Meghalaya. The programme commenced in the esteemed presence of Dr. Anupam Mishra, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event formally began with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, followed by the welcome address delivered by Prof. Dwipendra Thakuria, Dean, CPGSAS. Dr. T. R.
