KVK East Garo Hills Launches Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan with Focus on Village Outreach and Developed Farming East Garo Hills, Meghalaya – May 29, 2025: The Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan, a nationwide agricultural campaign initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, was officially launched today in East Garo Hills by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), East Garo Hills, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The campaign, supported by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), will continue across India until June 12, 2025, engaging over 1.5 crore farmers in all 700 districts.
