Dambo Rongjeng, May 31, 2025: An awareness and empowerment programme under the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan was successfully held at the Dambo Rongjeng Block Office Hall today. The event, organized by Team C of East Garo Hills, witnessed enthusiastic participation from farmers (150+) across the region and focused on sustainable agriculture practices and government support schemes. The programme began at 10:00 am with the registration of farmers, followed by a formal felicitation of guests and dignitaries. Dr. S.M. Hussain, Senior Scientist & Head of KVK East Garo Hills (EGH), delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the day. A series of insightful addresses followed, featuring key officials including the District Agriculture Officer, District Horticulture Officer, and District A.H & Veterinary Officer. Dr. Jyoti Vastard, Dean of the College of Community Science, Tura, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour
