The College of Post-Graduate Studies in Agricultural Science (CPGSAS), Umiam, hosted a programme “Input Distribution to the Farmers” on December 10, 2024. The event was graced by the dignitaries : Dr. Anupam Mishra, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of CAU-Imphal; Shri Dinesh Kulkarni, National Organizing Secretary of Bhartiya Kisan Sangh, New Delhi; Dr. S.K. Dubey, Vice President of Bhartiya Agro Economics Research Center, New Delhi, and Emeritus Scientist at ICAR-Central Soil Salinity Research Institute, Karnal; Dr. V.K. Mishra, Director of ICAR Regional Centre for NEH Region, Umiam; Prof. D. Thakuria, Dean of CPGSAS, Umiam; and Prof. Ram Singh, Dean of the College of Agriculture, Kyrdemkulai. A total of 35 farmers participated in the programme during which various agricultural inputs such as water pumps, knapsack sprayers, CAU bio-enhancers, Multiplex Neem Bio-pesticide, along with French bean and field pea seeds were distributed.
