Bridging Traditions: CAU Team Visits ICAR-Shri Siddhagiri KVK

A high-level delegation from Central Agricultural University, Imphal recently visited ICAR–Shri Siddhagiri KVK at Kaneri Math, Kolhapur, Maharashtra to witness the LIVE Natural Farming Demonstration and Indigenous Cow Exhibition under the leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Anupam Mishra.

The team—including the Dean (COVSc Jalukie) Dr. I Shakuntala Devi; NIRF Coordinator, ICAR Nodal Officer, and senior faculty explored sustainable, climate-resilient farming models.

The delegation was honoured to receive the blessings of Shri Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji, a visionary leader in indigenous cow-based agriculture.

The visit marks a significant effort to integrate traditional Indian agricultural wisdom with modern scientific research to empower farmers and enhance ecological sustainability.

From the hills of the North East to the fields of Maharashtra, CAU continues to work towards popularising nature-based agricultural practices.
