The 79th Independence Day celebration was led by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Anupam Mishra, Dr. Lalita M. Garnayak, Director of Research, CAU Imphal; Prof. Ph. Ranjit Sharma, Director of Extension Education, CAU Imphal;  Dr. Tilak Raj Sharma, Registrar, CAU Imphal; Prof. Ng. Iboyaima Singh, Dean, College of Food Technology, CAU Imphal and deputy directors of the headquarters, together with the officials and staff of the university, on 15th August 2025 at the CAU Headquarters, Lamphelpat, Imphal.
