About College of Agricuture, Iroisemba
College of Agriculture, Imphal, formerly known as Manipur Agricultural College, is the first constituent college of Central Agricultural University, established in 1993 under the Central Agricultural University act passed by the Parliament of India. The College Campus is located at Iroisemba, a distance of 5kms from Imphal City and is spread over an area of 44 acres of land amidst a picturesque landscape full of greenery surrounded by Langol Hills in the Western and Northern sides.
The College is reputed for its highly qualified and well experienced faculty, dedicated staff and state of the art infrastructure that facilitates teaching-learning experience and co-curricular activities. The College is committed to advance knowledge by providing quality education, research facilities and by promoting extension activities related to agriculture and allied fields: includes development and transfer of technology to the farmers/stakeholders for the benefit of the society.
