The event featured insightful discussions led by Dr. Anupam Mishra, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and special invitees, including Shri. Gumsen Lollen, State President BJKM, Dr. Jyoti Vastrad, Dean, College of Community Science, Tura, and Shri Jechonia Islary, COO, Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission, Shri. Varaprasad, AGM, NABARD, Shri.T.D.Nechkom, Director Agril Marketing, Ms.P D Sona, State Co-ordinator, NERACE, Sh.Sony Malhotra, DIC and Dr. Premaradhya, Asst Professor, COA. which emphasized the role of FPOs in sustainable agricultural development. Dr. Anupam Mishra, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of CAU, Imphal, delivered the keynote address, underscoring the importance on Farmers Collectives, Market Access & improvement, sustainable practices, skill and capacity building, digital platform utility, focus on regional potential crops in boosting productivity and market reach for FPOs. The session also featured presentations from five CBBOs representing 30 FPOs promoted by CAU-Imphal, followed by an open discussion on overcoming challenges and setting a roadmap for strengthening FPOs in Arunachal Pradesh.
