
















The National Conclave on “Weaving India Together” commenced today at the NASC Complex, New Delhi, celebrating India’s natural fibres, craftsmanship, and innovation-driven livelihoods. Organized by the College of Community Science, CAU (Imphal), Tura, Meghalaya, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Ministry of Textiles, Government of Meghalaya, and Deendayal Research Institute (DRI), New Delhi, the event brought together artisans, researchers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from across the country. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Shri Kiren Rijiju, Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minister of Minority Affairs, as Chief Guest; Dr. Rajbir Singh, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Extension), ICAR; Shri Atul Jain, Vice Chairman, DRI, New Delhi; and Dr. Mridula Thakur Pradhan, Chairperson, Vikas Foundation Trust, as Guests of Honour.
