College of Fisheries R-ABI supports agribusiness incubation by tapping innovations & technologies for venture creation in agriculture & allied sectors to promote agripreneurship and startups. Focus areas: Fisheries & Aquaculture, Post-Harvest Technology, Agri/Aqua Input, Warehouse Management, ICT in Agriculture, Farmer Services/Aqua Clinics, Dairy, Farm Mechanization, Supply Chain Management, Nutrition & Health, Animal Husbandry.

  • ✅ Support agripreneurs with legal, financial, IP & compliance services
  • ✅ Build vibrant startup ecosystem (academia – finance – industry)
  • ✅ Provide innovative solutions for local & global agri challenges

🚀 Incubation Programs & Funding

1. Agripreneurship Orientation
1-month training + hands-on internship + stipend. After completion → eligible for Idea/Pre-Seed funding (max ₹5 lakhs).
2. Idea/Pre-Seed Stage
Up to ₹5 lakhs subsistence grant to convert innovative idea into prototype/product.
3. Seed Stage Funding
Up to ₹25 lakhs for incubates with MVP – product launch, scaling, market readiness.
4. Student Innovation Program
Financial + technical aid up to ₹4 lakhs per student (max 4 students/year).
