Message from the Desk of Dean
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the College of Horticulture & Forestry, Pasighat, established on 7th March 2001 on the beautiful banks of the Siang River in Arunachal Pradesh. Spread over 58 hectares, the College has made remarkable progress in teaching, research and extension education through its 11 departments and well-equipped research and instructional farms.
The College offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Horticulture and Forestry, following the recommendations of the ICAR Sixth Deans’ Committee. Our Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) also plays a vital role in disseminating the latest agricultural technologies to the farming community.
I am proud of our students’ outstanding achievements in ICAR-JRF and other competitive examinations. I sincerely appreciate the dedication of our students, faculty and staff and encourage everyone to continue striving for excellence in education, research and extension to bring greater laurels to Central Agricultural University.
