Welcome to the College of Agriculture at Pasighat, one of the beautiful campuses established under the Central Agricultural University, which is one of the best and leading agricultural universities in India in terms of its academic excellence with quality, advancements in technological research enhancement by knowledge and skill. The beautiful campus of College of Agriculture comprising of 86 acres of land is located on the picturesque bank of mighty river, Siang at the foothills of Eastern Himalayas at the land of rising sun Arunachal Pradesh. The College is located near GTC Area, at 3kms from Pasighat towards Yingkiong-Aalo Road. The college includes various infrastructures viz. well-equipped class rooms, library facilities, Hostels and farm land etc.
The College accredited by ICAR New Delhi and started its first flagship academic programme i.e., 4-year B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture programme from academic session 2013-14 with intake capacity of 20 plus students. The course curriculum and syllabi are based on the model academic regulations and syllabi as proposed by the 5th Dean Committee of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. Further, the extracurricular activities like NSS and physical education have been included as a part of syllabus. A new programme on student READY (Rural Entrepreneurship Awareness and Development Yojana) has been introduced from the academic year 2016-17.
