Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Dr. Anupam Mishra called on the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, on 14th July 2026. During the meeting, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor briefed His Excellency about the National Buyer–Seller Meet-cum-Exhibition on Indigenous and Heritage Products of Northeast India, being organized by the Central Agricultural University, Imphal, on 24th–25th July 2026 at the Shillong Convention Centre, Shillong, Meghalaya.

The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor informed His Excellency that the event aims to promote entrepreneurship, value addition, market access, and sustainable livelihoods for producers, artisans, farmers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Self-Help Groups (SHGs), startups, and enterprises across the North Eastern Region. The event will provide a dynamic platform for direct interaction among producers, buyers, investors, policymakers, and other stakeholders, thereby strengthening market linkages and fostering sustainable economic development in the region.
