The College of Community Science, Tura, Meghalaya, under the Central Agricultural University, Imphal, in collaboration with the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, ICAR, New Delhi, DRI, New Delhi, and the Government of Meghalaya, organized “Unveiling Vision: The Grand Poster Reveal & Media Meet” for the forthcoming National Conclave on “Weaving India Together: Natural Fibres, Innovation and Livelihoods from the North East and Beyond.” Chief Guest Shri Ashutosh Rana, acclaimed actor and writer, spoke on sustainability and mindful living, emphasizing that true progress lies in harmony with nature. The event was graced by Dr. Mridula Takur Pradhan, Dr. Rajbir Singh, Shri Atul Jain, and Dr. Anupam Mishra, who underscored the role of innovation and traditional wisdom in rural empowerment. The grand poster unveiling marked a vision of weaving together tradition, innovation, and sustainability.
