Central Agricultural University Headquarters, Imphal, observed the 156th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October 2025 with a social service and cleanliness drive in the office premises and its surroundings. The programme was led by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, CAU, Imphal, Dr. Anupam Mishra, along with Dr. T. R. Sharma, Registrar, CAU, Imphal; Prof. Indira Sarangthem, Director of Instructions, CAU, Imphal; Prof. L. M. Garnayak, Director of Research; Prof. Ph. Ranjit Sharma, Director of Extension Education; P. T. Sharma, Comptroller, CAU, Imphal; and Prof. Ng. Iboyaima, Dean, CoFT, Imphal. Deputy Directors, officers and staff actively participated in the cleanliness campaign, reaffirming the University’s commitment to the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
