Inauguration of Boys’ and Girls’ Hostels, Academic & Administrative Buildings of the College of Horticulture, Bermiok, South Sikkim, and the Annual Zonal Meeting of ATARI Zone VI, Guwahati was held on 25th September at the COH, Bermiok Campus. The programme was graced by Shri Om Prakash Mathur, Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, and Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Shri Bhagirath Choudhary, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India; Shri Puran Kumar Gurung, Hon’ble Agriculture Minister, Government of Sikkim; Shri B. S. Panth, Hon’ble MLA, Temi-Namphing; Dr. Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor, Central Agricultural University, Imphal; Dr. G. Kadirvel, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Zone VI; Dr. A. K. Pandey, Dean, College of Horticulture, Bermiok; along with faculty members, students, and representatives of the local community.

The newly inaugurated state-of-the-art facilities include modern classrooms, laboratories, seminar halls, and student amenities, all designed to enhance the teaching and learning environment.
