In an effort to bring together academicians and researchers from around south and south east asia working on hill ecology and agriculture, Central Agricultural University, Imphal hosts an international conference on Agriculture in Hilly and Mountain Landscape: An Interdisciplinary Perspective during 22-24 November, 2023 at College of Post Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences, Umiam, Meghalaya in collaboration with Indian Society of Agricultural Economics (ISAE), Mumbai.

College of Fisheries, CAU (I), Lembucherra, Tripura celebrated 26th Foundation Day of the college and closing ceremony of Silver Jubilee Year celebration on 03.10.2023. Shri Sushanta Chowdhury, Hon’ble Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Tourism and Transport, Govt. of Tripura graced the event as the Chief Guest along with Dr. Anupam Mishra, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, CAU, Imphal; Prof. Ganga Prasad Prasain, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Tripura University and other invited dignitaries. The programme was initiated by the colorful cultural procession performed by the participating colleges of the Silver Jubilee Fest, 2023. At the outset, Shri Sushanta Chowdhury and other esteemed dignitaries inaugurated the Silver Jubilee Lobby which showcases the technology developed by the college since inception. Silver Jubilee Tower and Silver Jubilee Park were also inaugurated by the Chief Guest. Apart from these, MoUs were signed with the ICAR-CIFRI and ICAR-NBFGR in presence Dr. B. K. Das, Director, ICAR-CIFRI, Barrackpore, Kolkata and Dr. Uttam Kumar Sarkar, Director, NBFGR, Lucknow.

Central Agricultural University, Headquarters, Imphal, celebrated the 154th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Cleanliness and sanitation programmes were conducted in and around the campus. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, CAU Imphal, Directors, Registrar, Comptroller other officials and staff carried out cleanliness activities in their departments/offices and adjoining localities.
